I've said it before, I will say it again... there is something special about seeing your copy in print.
I definitely got the bug whilst working in agency... from seeing my news release translated into regional or national press, to getting a copy of a brochure or flyer, which contained my actual words! It was all sooooo good.
I've had the chance to supply content to a variety of publications over my career; as well as securing column space for compelling client content in consumer titles within the national media, writing for trade titles in particular has been, and will continue to be, a focus.
It's a great tool to promote client features and benefits, as well as demonstrate my copy-writing competency consistently; supplyng articles to trade media, is also an excellent way to establish yourself as a knowledgeable and trust worthy influencer.
It's also one of the things that is guaranteed to give me an instant buzz.
